There are a variety of services and programs available to assist seniors and their caregivers as they plan to age in place. During this seminar information will be provided regarding access to in-home sevices including home-care, home improvement programs, transportation, and other programs designed to provide the support necessary to stay in your home.

Those caring for a spouse, partner, parent, or other relative or friend can participate from the comfort and convenience of their own home. No travel or special equipment is necessary.

The tele-seminar will be held via telephone conference call on Thursday November 5th from 7-8pm. Advance registration is required. This tele-seminar is one of several being offered in 2009 and one component of the multi-faceted Caregiver Connection program supporting families engaged in elder care. This program is funded by the Albany County Department for Aging and the United Way of the Greater Capital Region.
